Malaysia

Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia. It is a federal constitutional monarchy. Malaysia consists of 13 states and 3 federal territories. Territory of the country separated by the South China Sea into two regions: West (peninsular) Malaysia and East Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia is bordered by Thailand to the north, and also shares maritime borders with Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia. East Malaysia is bordered by Brunei to the north and Indonesia to the south, and also shares maritime borders with the Philippines and Vietnam. The southernmost point of the continental Eurasia is located in Malaysia. The Strait of Malacca is located between West Malaysia and Sumatra. It is one of the most important ways in global trade. Landscapes of two parts of the country are generally similar. Coastal plains are rising to hills and mountains. Kuala Lumpur is the capital and largest city of Malaysia. Putrajaya is the seat of the federal government of the country
