 The Hundertwasser house

The Hundertwasser house is the expressionist landmark of Vienna, capital of Austria. The house is located on the corner of Kegelgasse and Lowengasse. The house was built in 1983-1985 according to the ideas and concepts of Hundertwasser and Joseph Krawina. Unusual house has 52 apartments, 4 offices, and 19 terraces, 16 of them are private. The Hundertwasser house has around 250 trees and bushes. The roof covered with earth and grass, and trees grow from inside the rooms. The Hundertwasser house is open from 10.00 a.m. to 07.00 p.m. The tickets cost 10 Euro.

Hoher Dachstein

Hoher Dachstein is located at the border of Upper Austria and Styria in central Austria. Dachstein is permeated by a big system of caves, including some of the largest caves in Austria. Hoher Dachstein is a karst mountain, the second highest mountain in the North Limestone Alps. There are many glaciers with the rocky summits in the north of Dachstein. To the south, the mountain drops almost vertically to the valley floor. Dachstein is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can enjoy your summer and winter holiday, as well as excursions, skiing and snowboarding in Hoher Dachstein. There are many restaurants, cafe and souvenir shops in Dachstein.

 The Grossglockner

The Grossglockner is situated on the border between the federal state of Carinthia and the federal state Tyrol. The history of the climbs started with natural scientist Belsazar Hacquet, that travelled the Eastern Alps from 1779 to 1781 and described the Grossglockner. The Grossglockner is a highest mountain in Austria, and one of the highest peaks in the Alps. The Grossglockner is a famous place for climbing, hiking and mountaineering. There are many hotels, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops in the Grossglockner.
